Something to say

This time of year presents an dilemma.
It seems half the people are offended at “Merry Christmas.”
And the other half by “Happy Holidays.”
What’s a “person of good will” to do?
Well, I was in New York City on Saturday and stopped for coffee at the café at the Museum of Modern Art, and the person who waited on us delivered what I believe a solution. Upon paying our check, she said, “Merry Christmas, or whatever you celebrate.”
“Oh,” I replied, “I’m going to borrow that one.”
And I have.
So, Merry Christmas, or whatever you celebrate, to everyone reading this.
